Meet Melissa, our office manager and licensed insurance agent who’s been with the BIG Agency for twelve years—because why leave when you’re having this much fun? With a background in Information Technology and Customer Service, Melissa is the secret sauce that keeps the agency running smoothly. She’s like the office superhero—minus the cape, but we’re working on it.

A proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Melissa holds not one, but TWO degrees—Computer Programming and Business Administration. Yep, she’s basically a wizard of all things tech and business, which comes in handy when she’s magically making insurance jargon sound easy to understand. She got her Property & Casualty license in 2013, her Life & Health license in 2018, and most recently, she’s certified to sell Medicare Advantage and Supplement plans—because Melissa doesn’t just stop at the basics. She’s basically an insurance overachiever.

Melissa’s main mission isn’t to treat you like just another number. Nope! She’s all about helping you understand your coverage so you don’t feel like you’re reading ancient scrolls written in insurance code. She wants to make sure you have the best policy with the perfect coverage at a price that won’t make your wallet cry.

A massive Dave Ramsey fan, Melissa hosted Financial Peace University in 2017 (and probably threw a mini dance party in the process). She primarily focuses on personal lines and insuring classic, collector, and antique cars—because why wouldn’t you want your vintage car to have top-tier coverage, right?

When she’s not at the office, you’ll find her at a local car show, baking something that probably involves chocolate and magic (it’s a thing), or jamming out at the nearest country concert. If you ever run into her, expect a good time and maybe a dance move or two!
